It seems like spam topics have overridden our normal topics, so I thought about a solution to this problem would be to have users manually validate their membership. How it works is new users cannot create topics or even view our forums. However, after posting in the Validation Forum topic with the required information, a staff member will grant you access to the forums if we find that you are indeed a real user.

I hope this solution works, but more importantly I hope it is only a temporary one, and in the future we could validate users properly right when they register but people are finding leaks in PunBB apparently. Let's hope things work better this time.
